convertible top lifting at 50mph
Ok. I have notice lately that my top lifts up at 50 mph.
Right above your head is the center cross bar . The top lay flat on that bar , once it get to 50and above it lifts and start to pull on the fabric surrounding the bar.. I feel that in time it will rip the fabric.
I don't remember if it allways did that or if it just started. All I have changed is the modrfy strap. I'm not saying it is causing the problem.. but I don't know.
I don't have any other friend that have a s2k to verify .
So , can you guys check that while driving.
Oh I don't hear or feel any air rushing.

I used to have this same problem about a year ago. I bought some Gorilla Glue from Home Depot, and carefully rolled the fabric back on the center bar and then glued it back to the actual soft top cloth. It has worked fine since then. It's been about a year since I did that, and it is holding up pretty good with no issues yet.
