Since you are an 00 you won't have the mounting holes. But no worries just assemble the mats and lay them down, no need for screwing the brackets. The humps hold them in place perfect

Does someone still stock/sell them in BLUE???

They never made them in blue.

Buy the 4 piece mats from COX UK and use Transferwise or Paypal balance for payment. All other options will cost more. All US retailers are marking them up about $75-100 and are scamming you.

Arrived in less than a week! Some quick before and after shots below. Definitely worth the price.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice! Now I'm off to be obsessively paranoid about dirty shoes in my car for the foreseeable future.

Hopefully you applied some fabric guard(303 or Chemical Guys) before installing, red will show dirt quick.

I would recommend getting the later model AP1/AP2 metal dead pedal too.

I actually did apply some 303 protectant before installing! Definitely a good call.

And funny you mention the dead pedal, after looking at pictures from other people I started to look into that this morning. The dead pedal and the bracket can be found for pretty cheap on Ebay by the looks of it. I may have to go ahead and order a set.

Footwell lights. You can do them cheaply, too.

Hey all,

My car is a 2001 and it suffers from the issue of having a single anchor for the drivers side carpet (see picture). Being old, the carpet nubs on the bottom are coming off so the mat rotates really easily around the attachment minutes after re-adjusting and it's driving me crazy. The upper left part of the mat starts to bend up against the footrest and I can feel it when I operate the clutch.

I've seen a few threads on this but a lot are quite old and various parts that go along with the suggestions are getting harder to come by. My understanding is that there is an attachment point for a second anchor on the crossbeam underneath the carpet... is that true for a MY01? I've seen a lot of options for OEM red mats like mine but with the second hole that came on MY02s(?) and later, however, I can't find an extra anchor anywhere as they seem to be discontinued. Additionally I've heard a lot about the "extended" floor mats that people seem to have (like the ones here), but I don't quite understand, are those OEM? Or did Honda make ones like those as an OEM option outside the US? I'd prefer to keep OEM looking parts on the car, so if these are factory style mats, does anyone have a suggestion on the best/cheapest place to buy them? Best I can find is the ones here which are about $206 shipped to the US.

In summary, just trying to know what the general consensus is on the best fix or replacement is for these floor mats.

Thanks!

MY00 did not come with any anchor points built in, not even the single one like your MY01 did. I bought the OEM premium red mat set to complement my red interior and it came with dual anchors for both sides of the car. I made small incisions in the carpet that goes over the raised cross member in the floor to position the mats' anchors over the hump as the instructions recommended. Despite not having the anchors themselves screwed down the mats don't move. I see you went that route too and now your problem is solved
