Default Can you fit your fingers above the rear view mirro

OK, weird question. I had to get the windshield replaced in my 2003 AP1. After the replacement I noticed that I couldn't get my fingers between the top of the mirror and the overhead dome/map light housing. Specifically on the right side of the mirror. On the left side I can, because that side is closer to the windshield.

But, I can't really remember if I could before anyway! I think they mounted the mirror a little higher on the windshield. It's sort of a drag cause it's hard to see squat out of the back window anyway.

Can some of you guys check your own and tell me what you think? Of course, you've got to have the original windshield.

Thanks everyone.

My rearview mirror is about half and inch higher than it was before my windshield replacement.

Yeah, I encountered the same problem when I got my windshield replaced.
I called them explaining that my Broadway cant fit anymore and that I wanted the rearview mirror to previous OEM specs. So they took off the mirror without a torch and lowered it about an 1 1/2 inches

Had my glass replaced a month ago.... Same exact problem...Just learning to live with it !!!! ....anything is better than the pitted-up, sandblasted mess, I had before This is my 3rd windshield, in my '03 !!!! They are a rock magnet
...the mirror button on this windshield came pre-installed, so I guess they missed the oem location by about a 1/2 inch....or so.....
