Curious to see if this would work on the 2006-2009 Honda S2000 when installing aftermarket seats in the Passenger side to eliminate the dash light.

Following, would love to know if this could be made to work in a 2006 - 2009 car, but I just have a feeling that this is a more simple "weight = on, no weight = off" type of sensor, and I'm not sure if this would work with the 2006-2009 stock passenger sensor which I believe has multiple weight value thresholds- no weight in seat = no "airbag off" warning light, but system turned off (maybe?), small amount of weight like a small child = "airbag off" warning light, system turned off, adult-sized weight = no "airbag off" warning light, with SRS system armed.
I found a nice set of bottom-mount SR4 Recaros out of a DC5 a little while back, I have a set of Bride RO 06-09 rails, and a spare set of 06-09 stock S2000 seat rails with the passenger-side weight / position sensor, and I'm willing to cut any of it up if I have to, but would love to be able to have a working solution without having to cut up and bolt or weld together some Frankenstein rail combination. I don't mind if the passenger-side airbag is "always on" and set to go off at full power as though there is an adult in the passenger seat, but if I'm not confident I can get something to work I'll have to leave the OEM passenger seat installed. .
