As someone with an AP1, I struggle with just finding somewhere for one drink.

Trying to shift with any drink in the single cup holder can be a chore sometimes.

Honestly, I put the second drink in the center glove compartment. Done it couple dozen times, works like a charm! The cup, bottle, can, will never tip over no matter how hard you drive.

Yeah but does it spill if you have a cup with no lid?

Any pictures of the one mounted on the driver side?

Mounted to the door sill?? Let's see a pic of your creativity .

I hate putting 16oz+ cans in my cup holders (I'm sort of a rockstar/redbull addict), I like to keep my hand on my shift knob but the cans get in my way. I've spilled soft drinks on the emergency light button by knocking my drink just a bit, and it gets sticky/stuck! Ive taken apart the button assembly twice now just for cleaning!

Skye and I don't approve of open beverages!

I often bring one of these bottles with me and let my girlfriend hand it over, when I feel like it.

it's water so it wouldn't hurt if I accidentally spilled some, anything else is prohibited!

I use that spot between the seatbelt clip and my hip. Holds it in nice and secure. Great for Jamba juice or what have you. Not really great for coffee or stuff that could easily slosh out.

On that note. -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rrr0YH-dm6k

3rd for the modifry cup holder. My AP2 console cup holder is where the flashpro lives. I hated using it as a cup holder. It always got in the way when shifting.

Sorry, I haven't been on this thread in a little while. I did remove my driver side Fischer cup holder that was screwed into the door sill. A shop had installed it and I wasn't totally happy with the location. When it got jammed a few months ago, I took it out to fix it. I'll take pics when I reinstall it, maybe this weekend. I plan to install it closer to the seat than it had been. I think that it was too far forward, and my leg would rub against the bottle. I've test fitted it closer to the seat and I think I'll be much happier with that location.

I have the passenger side holder mounted with only one screw, doing double duty with the cargo net. That allows the holder to swivel a little, in case we are using taller bottles of water, like one liter size.

Modifry also sells a mounting bracket from the passenger side of the transmission tunnel. I might look into that for kicks.

Second on modifry tunnel mount. That can double as all kinds of things, like cell phone holder, laptop holder for when you have to tune, or other crap holder, because my jacket holds everything other than my phone.
