Spent about an hour waxing her this morning... and needless to say, she's clean.

Yeah, I use Liquid Gold too, but it ain't that great. It doesn't last at all, seriously, a few weeks at the most. I gets off the hood and the trunk mad fast, and I always cover it with the OEM carcover. I'm gonna get some 3M stuff after it, I'm tired of waxing it 4 times for it to last.

Maguire's is good stuff for the money. Zaino and Zymol, etc. are all good, but if you're on a budget and don't subject the car to extremes, Maguires will work good. I use it too and consider it the best stuff available at regular autoshops like Kragen.

You may want to read this thread about waxes and polishes. Also, this article is a really good read on the subject. I've never tried the Maguires wax, so I don't have any firsthand experience with it. I've Zaino'd mine and as far as just ease of application, at least, there is absolutely no comparison. Putting wax on is WAY too much of a pain in the arse compared to a polish. Anyway, I thought that the article on nsexcitement was pretty interesting since it's the only real comparison-type test I've seen anyone do.

I use "Liquid Glass" on mine. It's a little more expensive than wax but a lot cheaper than Zaino...and seems to be a very similar product.
