Honestly, flat black looks cool at first, but it gets old really fast. I have a flat black AE86 that's begging to get repainted, now. I thought it was fine at first the more I look at it the more it looks like it was caught in a fire.

flat black looks good on a overly modded car especaill with the JGTC wide bodied...looks on a stock s2k or any stock car.

No doubt, but if you plan on driving the car everyday or actually using the car frequently, it get old really fast.

I gotta jump back in this thread one last time. I usually do not like wildly modified cars. Even cars like the last gen Supras and RX-7s or my dream car for that matter, the NSX... I've just never been a fan of the race-ready look as it has been called in this thread. With Japanese sports cars it's easy to make them look like they just returned from a JGTC battle, but the majority doesn't like it. Even some enthusiasts don't care for it, me included. HOWEVER, Chris' car is SICK! For once even me, "Mr-Anti-GT-Wing", is awe struck! (BTW, thanks for not ruining it with a GT wing) Anyway I just wanted to say what an awesome job you did on your car, !! I your S!!!!

I got to see the yellow S2K at HIN tonight! I thought it looked awesome. The unmatching blue metallic rims don't really match, but yeah.

Nice car

Thanks. I am thinking of painting my Mugen front flat black to match the fenders. I really like the look. Most people are too into the one color theme which is cool but I think in person this looks a little better.
