If that guy was never in an accident before he was probably in a state of shock for a solid 5 minutes, you have millions of thoughts running through your head especially after you've been impaled by an airbag.

I am surprised the guy was as calm as he was, I would have been going ape shit. It looks like he was okay, could not care less about the other driver.
He did not look like he was in shock, he just casually pulled over and unplugged his phone.

This is the original Reddit thread:

He mentions that the police was even taking the womans side first, before he showed them the video. I guess recording your driving pays off after all...

I've watched this video over and over again, and I am surprised that no one has mentioned that the light turned yellow about 100-150 feet before the S2000 entered the intersection...
I am not criticizing the driver here (heck, I admittedly run through yellow lights all the time)... But it is an interesting fact that is clearly shown on the video...
Maybe the driver of the van was timing lights and anticipating the green... Based on the yellow light in the video, she could have entered the intersection at full speed on a light that just barely turned green...
Again, not placing any blame on the S2000 driver...clearly he showed the video to the police and they were convinced that this was not his fault... Just an observation...
I was also surprised at how composed the driver was when the airbags went off, and the composure he had in the seconds afterwards as he turns to shut off his camera... I am not so sure that I would have been able to keep my cool...

You're supposed to run yellow . What did you expect him to do.. mash the brakes? The lights don't change that quickly. There would have been a couple second delay from the yellow turning red and then the other light turning green.
