actually not my car, but i have a feeling that he got the center caps from a jdm type r rim that comes like that.........or my 2nd guess was that it was painted that way.
he bought the centercaps for the type r wheels. had the rims powdercoated to match the car. the original owner of the car had a thing with type R's always wanted one. wanted to see how a s2000 would look with that scheme and did it. noone else did it and the best thing about it, he didnt care what others thought. he wanted to do something different.

painting the car championship white and doing the ITR scheme was basically if someone did a scheme from a jdm shop or tuner.

to each his own

oh and btw, the car looks 10 times better in person.

arrrrmand, i love those shots you took.

(s2k00 bought the car and has upgraded it since)

[QUOTE]I thought we were talking about badges. My mistake. In that case, make my statement read "the way honda wanted it badge wise". To me, putting on the red emblem is exactly like putting a type r sticker on the car since the red emblems were exclusively attached to the type r model hondas in japan.

Yes they are oem peices.

If you feel that it looks "damn good", put it on

What if I put red badges on NFR, would you consider it the same thing? And its not exactly like putting a type R badge on the car since Im not claiming my car to be anything other than a Honda.
Yes I would. To me, it's all the same since red H badges were part of honda's way to differentiating the car from other models. I can put type r stickers on my car and also not claim it's nothing other than a regular honda.

Badges ordered! If anyone else wants them, better get them quick... including the black ones. Rumor is that Honda may not be producing them anymore.

I prefer the OEM Honda JDM GPW badges. Easier to clean them too
