Thank you, glad to hear that. Saved $2500 doing it myself
So your only cost was materials? Do you mind me asking how much that ran you?

Looks awesome, btw.
Thank you!
That and basic tools - a heat gun, thin blue painters tape, tape measure, 3M primer pens, 3M edge sealer and a squeegee with felt edge to prevent scratches to the vinyl (minor surface scratches disappear in the sun or heating it with a heat gun - amazing)

A little over $600 for 65' x 60" roll of Matte Blue & 8' x 60" of the Matte Black

Oh and two bottles of isapropyl alcohol for prep

Damn, not bad at all! That's the cost of just a front-end clear bra.

Since I'm lazy and not looking up the YouTube videos right now, what's the process like and how much time did you spend to do the car? Do you think you'd be able to cut that time significantly if you were to do another car?

De-wax with dish washing soap worked for me, then each panel and all edges vinyl would tucked into had to be cleaned with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water then wiped with a lint free towel. Thank you!

Yes sir and I can't stress how much of a PIA it is, mirrors also have to be removed and disassembled. Sh!t the whole car was taken apart.

Probably but I'm extremely anal and a perfectionist that's why it took a little over 100hrs including the disassembly of all the parts, headlights, tail lights, door handles, mirrors, fenders, bumpers etc.

im actually going to be vinyl wapping my s in a few months once i get body work issues sorted out. im looking into satin black and olive drab, 1 or the other. i have taken apart the door handles on a few occasions now and believe me the one clip that holds the handle is the most sinister nefarious thing ever created so i feel your pain. only question i have is do you feel it would be easier to do the panels off the car over time like do the fenders one day , the bumper and hood the next then doors rear bumper trunk rear quarters etc etc, or did you find it best to try and tackle it all at once ?? im debating whether i should attempt to do this with my friend or just pay the money to have it done when the time comes
