Just make sure the new paint is laid down properly and has had a good amount of time to cure otherwise you may have issues pulling the vinyl off in the future. The vinyl will pull improperly cured paint or clear coat off with it.

Thanks, no it's actually pretty easy to maintain. Just collects dust due to static electricity a little more than paint, something I've noticed.

Half of the door jams have been done 4" in from the edge, going to finish them off once I have the patience to do it.
