No.

But it's very easy to switch back to the OEM airbox (and back to the PRM) if you get a ticket.

you will probably get a ref ticket. Just buy a carb legal one and call it a day but even then you still might get a ref ticket. I got pulled over in my WRX back in 04'. The officer points to my stock top mount intercooler and writes me a ref ticket saying its a modified air intake WTF? Then proceeds to also add insult and adds a modified exhaust cvc on there too. I had a SPT exhaust which is an OEM performance (like TRD). I went to the ref place and got it taken care of but what a waste of half a day and $20 bucks. Oh and the reason I got pulled over in the first place was because I didn't have my "lights on" WTF? I have Daytime running lights. This cop probably had a bad day but that was total
