You had traction in 1st and 2nd gear, it can't be thattttttttt fast....
so wrong!! I have traction on 1st gear with 21psi boost. Get a set of Nitto 555R for the rears and you'll be set

Very nice man, car looked to be a blast to drive. More power but not so much it just spins everywhere.

Evo has low compression so you have to wait for boost.

GT35R spools up just fine for good midrange and it will put a big smile on your face on the topend With the bigger turbo means graduel increase in torque = traction is more manageable. I can also get more power at the same amount of boost with a bigger turbo. I was running a smaller T3/T4 but I prefer this GT35R.

It's not the amount of boost/psi that decides which turbo you should use, it's what kind of power curve you want (your horsepower goal too of course).

Pang (S2KPANG) made 379whp @ only 8psi w/GT35R (equal length manifold).

Can't wait for Hondata! More power to come!!
Well I would assume when boosting a car that isn't already boosted, you lower the compression.

Yea, you may make MORE power with a bigger turbo, but when does your car fully spool at? It has to have some serious amount of lag being only at 7psi, no?

I know it's not that amount of boost that decides the turbo you pick, but if you're only planning on running a safe 7psi making 300whp (which you say you're going to make more power, then yea 35r is where it's at... which I didn't know until you posted after I asked) why not get a smaller turbo at the same psi with no lag?

I'm just asking because I'm going turbo this summer.

Its not all about boost...gt35r can be full spooled 400 rpm more than a t3/t4 and making more power thru-out the power band..

.. quick spool isnt always best even on 7 psi

Stock rear end. Will hold up fine with street tires but not with slicks nor drag rads. Make sure there's no wheel hop
