Once again if no one read my last post. I too am looking to purchase this exhaust. Mr. Hessel can I count on contacting you about this? After researching threads and hearing complaints about the dealer I need someone I can trust to get this exhaust.
Thank you,
Tan

Thanks everyone, I am having fun with the new pipes!
Av8tor2,
Where did you get it from? www.bmpd.com, delivered in less than a week! (after waiting for HMS Motorsports for 4 months, I would suggest avoiding these guys!!)
How much? $1330
How Long to Install? Install took about an hour. I worked very methodically and carefully. I've never installed an exhaust before.
Performance Gains? Feels cool! I will be getting an AP-22 performance meter in a few days. I'll let you know what I come up with. I have base line dynos already. I'm not sure these can be compared, but I will report back anyway. My butt tells me that the car feels lighter, which I think I can contribute to some performace gains, but who knows.
What does it sound like? It sounds like the S2000, in my mind, should have sounded like in the first place! The sound is about an octave to a 11th lower, not raspy, and very mellow. It just humms at idle. The sound, I'd say the difference between a trumpet and a euphonium, has density to it. When in the throttle you feel the sound in the cockpit, especially between 3000-4000 RPM. Although it is not obtrusive, just dark. When you have reached you desired speed and relax off of the throttle the sound decres. and almost disappears! Give it a little gas and it gives you a nice Fortepiano! I have the stock intake, btw.
Airgate, I had Photopoint also! I have switched to ImageEvent for now. I really like the features of their site! I saw that you are using them now also. What do you think?
What I found truly amazing is the size difference from the stock exhaust to the SuperSprint! The liquid on the stock mufflers is WD-40, we used that to make getting the hangars off a breeze!
Regards,
James

I can attest to the beautiful sounds this exhaust produces! I hear Rick's exhaust first hand a few weeks ago and if I had a spare $1300 floating around, I'd certainly scoop this up!

Reedz described the sound of the Supersprint as only a musician could. I love it, and it's always music to my ears. Having the exhaust makes you even more aware of the engine, and I go out of my way to make it sing!
