u can, (have 5" rear 4" front on s2k, just takes some work(i can fit 4" rear/3" front safe :-/))

the wheels on the evo is only 2.5" lip, theyll be 5" the set on order.. it was justa test fit to measure bbk clearance and control arm clearance.

i'm a little confused, 5" lip in the rear, and 4" in the front??? is this for the evo or s2k? AWD with staggered fitment?

I thought awd had to run same width all around and same tire size

You can still have different offsets and get bigger and smaller lips without changing the size (width) of the wheel. You can also do reverse stagger that some racers do on the EVO and have larger wheels up front. The only thing you have to do is make sure to run the same size tire and your good.

damn who's the owner of that evo who's constantly getting new wheels just like you?

i like all the wheels thats being test fitted on the Evo except for the work equips. It doesn't fit the evo what so ever. new cars don't look good with old school wheels imo.
