bikes could stay up for a while.... ghost riding
when your taking a turn at high speed and giving gas at the middle or end of the turn the bike wants to go up right
theres a video on you tube with a guy wheeling on the highway and falls off the bike landed on its own wabbled a bit and went on cruising by itself for at least a 1/4 mile
till the speed went down to 5 mph<dont know exact> then it fell on its side

13yrs riding but never happened to me

but as far as the bike going on its own, wouldnt it have to be going rather fast to keep itself upright? fast as in not within the average human's running speed?

fake?

anyone who thinks this is fake needs to be smashed in the skull with a frying pan.

bikes stay upright all the time:

3:05 and 3:40.

look at stunting videos, its very, very common.
more speed = more balance.

i'm more impressed at the bike..

he wasn't going all that fast, because he was just starting to accelerate out of the corner, which is why he bailed it out from a loss of traction.

yeah, it would have hurt pretty bad, but it's not like supernatural.

cool though i guess

So a guy "mysteriously" falls off of his bike doing +-40Mph, runs fast enough to catch back up, and hops on and start riding again all 8 seconds and you guys think it is real.... Pitiful. To top it off its the shittiest video quality ever. FAKE!

I do think a bike would be able to keep itself up if it were on a straight, but coming out of a corner and having someone fall off... that is bs.

Its obviously an digital animation and even if it wasnt there is no way a bike would stay up like that.
I don't think it's a digital animation. Even the best and most expensive CGI animation today has akward movements during spirited human motions. The movements here look very fluent for a guy sprinting down a track.

And yes, bikes can "stay up like that" (for a short while, at least) for the same reason they stay up like that with a rider on. Rotational mass, gyroscopic effect, and other stuff you learn in Physics 101. And a bike in motion will always "try" to straighten up if not forced to turn by an outside force (rider), so ejecting off a bike in the middle of a corner does not mean it won't keep going in a straight line
(or most likely wiggley, pendulum effect).

It has happened before. I don't think it's fake, but I do think it's STAGED. The biker almost looks like he simply jumped out of the bike. Seems like the bike didn't flinch - no bumps, lowsides, highsides, nothing - and the dude just fell off by himself.
