Default T1R 70R exhaust

So I'm shopping around for exhaust (my little Christmas present ) and I like a few different setups. I am really considering the T1R 70mm. just from the gains I've heard about. I also like the Apex'i N1, but my friend has it and it sits a bit low for me. So I have a few questions about the T1R. Yes I searched...saw a few pics but not enough info for me to spend some money.

1) I consider Comptech and Apex'i exhaust very low, has nothing to do with how loud it is but is it low like them?

2) How loud is it w/o a testpipe...in comparison to perhaps Invidia and Apex'i.

3) I've seen some of them burnt blue on the tip...are they all like this or is it an option?

4) Anyone with a 70mm. that reads this, do you wish you went with something else?

Lastly, I would really appreciate it if you guys could post some pics for me. Thanks!

It is tucked pretty well. The piping does not hang down low.

It is loud but much more tolerable than Invidia IMO.

The tip will turn blueish purple over time as a result of heat.

I had a T1R 70 and switched to the T1R 63. Both were great, I like my 63 better.

Hope that helps you out.....

i have the old stainless steel t1r, 70mm i dont cosider it loud compared to many other singles, but its much heavier than my old j`s racing single 63mm. i think the new ti one would be louder, does it have a resonator? mine has one.

and its not low at all, its tucked too well to me.

I'm noticing that it's a header-back exhaust. Anyone ever not use the test pipe? I don't think I would want it...would that make it more quiet?

But what if you don't use the testpipe? Still really loud?
