Nah, wax won't do anything on the rear window. You have to buff through the haze and oxidation which accumulates over years. Luckily, the owners before me ALWAYS had the rear window tinted via static cling tint, which kept it very well protected and clean. I took that off this summer and tried to re-do it since it was coming undone. Well, I put my top down too soon, so I messed that tint up and then my window was FULL of gunk from the tint residue. I used goo-gone to get all the gunk off, then used plastic polish (Meg's Plastx) by hand, and then with the PC 7424.

Sorry for the noob question but did you apply PC7424 by hand or with a buffer? And what exactly is PC7424? I live down in New Zealand and I'm not sure if we have that stuff available here. My rear plastic is looking pretty screwed so any help would be great.
