What are those seats called? They're obviously recaros but what series are they? I searched ASM like the guy posted above me but Im finding that people are calling them rs-gs and rs-ts?? Also how thin do you have to be to fit in these seats. I found some people saying you can only be a maximum of like a 30 inch waist... Im a 34 which poses a problem if this is true, otherwise I need to call whoever you got them from and get a set for my M. thanks ahead of time!

They are the ASM limited edition RS-G Recaros. My buddy club that i had before was smaller than this seat, and it fit up to a 34" waist. I think with this seat, you'll probably be comfortable up to a 36-37" waist. it's VERY comfortable.

If you want one, hit up Tommy (GoTuningTommy). he can order you one and have it in within 8 weeks. they're currently special order only and no state-side retailer has them in stock. I bought the last one

Looking good! how hard was it to remove the soft top? i'm thinking about doing the same, but i'm not sure if the benefits outweigh the negatives...any regrets?

a related question, will a roll bar increase the rigidity of the car or is it just for safety?

wasn't hard...just time consuming. you have to remove all the trim then unbolt a bunch of stuff. and you'll need a second person to lift it out. I don't know if i will have any regrets...haven' thad the hard top long enough haha...we'll see. I doubt it though...the no-hassle of having a hardtop is very attractive.

Rollbar - safety and rigidity. everyone i've talked to that has one has said that it stiffens the car up a little bit
