A few pics with the Canon 10D & 24-70L lens. The learning curve Has been steeper than I had anticipated & I'm afraid I am hardly scratching the surface.

Lucky bastard with a 10D! How do you like that L lens? I have the 70-200mm f/2.8 L so far. Thinking of picking up a 24-70mm or a 16-35mm next. I'm using a Rebel though.

I plan on buying the 10D also because it has more manual controls in contrast to the Digital Rebel. Either way, the SLR cameras are great but it will take many experiments and perhaps taking classes to master.

nice pics, i think the 4th one down is very well done. the background is sufficiently blurry, makes the car stand out quite a bit. excellent

If you guys wanna upgrade your 300D's firmware to unlock some of the features of the 10D check this site:
http://www.bahneman.com/liem/photos/tricks...cks.html#latest

You can also google 300D russian hack to find more info.

I tried it along with many other people and it works great!
