Lol my friend with his MKIV Supra put total of 15 coats. but that also includes the few coats of base coat. lol he was persuing the technique of Rolls Royce. The Phantom has like 50 coats. He actually wanted more, but the body shop got mad. lol

The more coats the better because then if it gets scratched, chipped, etc you have more room to fix it.

i would paint just the sides leave the center black and the sides. would look really dope like that. just enough to make it match and tie it together with car and keeping the black and grey theme.

car looks amazing. some black RPFs or even some SBC ones would look amazing on this car. some 17x9 +45's maybe.

this is what im talking about on the top. seen the center left black and the little triangle sides...

1crazyS2K: I've considered painting it like that, but for now it will stay BB for resale value and honestly, I don't mind the look of the all black top at all

subsonic: Thanks and welcome to the forum! This site has an amazing wealth of info on it, and plenty of people who are willing to answer questions.

My engine bay modifications (mainly cosmetic):

- Science of Speed hood dampers
- AUT CF cooling plate
- Mishimoto radiator
- K&N FIPK
- AB Speed overflow tank (http://shop.moddiction.com/AB-Speed-...w-tank-015.htm)
- GP one piece strut bar with integrated heat shield (http://gladfab.myshopify.com/)
- GP master cylinder cover (had him make me one without his logo stamped)
- Deep cycle battery (Motomaster version identical to a Orbital Exide)
- Monster cable battery terminals with circuit breaker

Some pics... that blue windshield washer fluid cap stands out too much. Time to paint it I think...

Very nice. I assume you also detail your engine bay?
