Spugen Wannabe
Hey all,
well, after seeing certain threads dedicated to the new spugen exhaust, I've decided that I should get another exhaust as well, since I was getting tired of the screaming N-1.
So, I ordered a set of the magnaflow mufflers, took my car down to Royal Muffler (chatsworth) and had Jimmy (thats my friends name) set this up for me with three inch piping.
there does not seem to be any loss in performance from switching back to dual, and there definitely seems to be even distribution of exhaust flow from each muffler.
The sound is amazingly deep. I thought that by going this route (two mufflers, oval) there would have been a drop in noise level. Boy was I wrong,....its still as loud in the lower rpms, but its really nice to listen to. Not like the n-1, which got annoying after a while. Once I climb RPMs and spool the turbo up, the exhaust gets much quieter (which is strange ), and then I can finally hear my turbo spool and and my wastegate scream.
Before, when I had the single exit, with the N-1, all I could hear when I punched it, was the N-1 screaming like a bat out of hell. It was cool, but wasnt as fun to drive as it is now. okok..enough..heres the pictures.
