Not a problem, I somewhat enjoy doing write ups.
As for beIng a waste of money, that of coarse is a matter of opinion. It's essentially a cosmetic piece; making it no more of a "waste" per say than spending money on polishing a valve cover or purchasing shiny fender bolts etc.

I like seeing new products and things pop up, so it's good to see all the bling options we can do with our cars, but this in particular wouldn't be worth the money to me nor the time installing it for a very subtle difference, if any, in bling under the hood. Cool though

Eh, I could definitely see a $40 swing in price making the part more desirable. But, it is what it is. People spend more for less everyday; it just depends on how popular and how desirable the part is....or in some cases how rare/jdm it is. Its a small subtle piece...that would really have more appeal once inside a completed bay instead of on a bench top. I definitely appreciate the appreciation.
