is that image edited?
How did you get that much DOF with a 50mm at only f/1.4?

by the by, the sharpness is just unreal

It is all in the exif data:

" History Software Agent - Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.0 (Macintosh) "

and at f/1.4 I'm surprised more than only a headlight is in focus

Thanks! Shooting with that large of an aperture is pretty damn difficult. I took about 10 of that same photo before I was happy with the focal point. And yes it is edited with Lightroom. I usually dont do too much to it other than adjust blacks and clarity.

@Falut, my pictures are developped in Lightroom aswell, you wouldn't get anything to see from a RAW-file..

I was also stunned by the fact that the whole car seems to be in focus, whereas I'm used to getting the result you expected


@Soup: ever considered using manual focus?

I was going to suggest this. The 50mm is a great lens, especially if you're shooting with manual focus. I exclusively do, that little ring is magical. It's a great picture.
