Silverstone and Sebring on the Same Car
Tell me what you think.
It is really hard to get a good picture that really shows the differances. It is all in the lighting. I find it hard to tell if the car is Silverstone of Sebring in posted pictures. They have to be side by side in the same shot to really tell the differance. Here is what I took late this after noon, after I gave her a bath.
Note: I have a Silverstone Hood, Trunk and Hardtop. The car is Sebring. So I call it Seastone Silver
Here is a close up of where the Hardtop and fender come together.

doesnt look bad. just looks like it was repainted and wasnt matched very well.
The hood looks pretty good. The HT next to the fender is OK, but the trunk just doesn't seem to flow right.

Here is a couple more. These were taken earlier today just after the HT was installed.
I do agree on the trunk. You are right, it just does not work. I have been trying to put my finger on why.

I like it.... looks like a stripe. I was going to do the same thing but with CF. FF2skip was the originator of this look

I've been toying with a somewhat similar idea. I have been thinking of a two-tone paint job using the "crease line" that starts at the headlight and passes along the top of the fender, top of door just below the window and on back to the rear fender. What you have done is 80% of this. I think the difference is most notable at the rear (a) the space between the bottom edge of the rear window and the top edge of the trunk needs to be painted and (b) how to resolve the portion of the trunk lid between the center brake light and the bottom edge(I feel this area should be Sebring). My car is Silverstone and have considered Berliner for the "top" portion.
Thanks for the inspiration.
