Anyway the Blind Spot is the same as it is with the soft top, but the rear window is a little larger so you can see better, but obviously its not as large as the OEM hardtop.

 

I still prefer the hardtop to be the body color. If you are going to spend that kind of cash it should not look like the soft top. IMHO. And I just love the OEM hardtop!

 

yea.. i get what ur saying.. but i was plannin on getting a black one.. haha so i figure it will blend in... mmm does neone know hwo much the factory OEM hard top weighs? and the mugen CF one weighs? i guess if theres no significant loss of weight.. the OEM one woudl be better for about 2 grand less..

Remember, the back window of the Mugen is not glass like the OEM Hardtop it is Lexan (plastic) without a defrost unit.

 

The weights listed on the Mugen tops is with All the moutning hardware also, just the top itself is not that heavy, maybe 20ish pounds. Im gonna guess by looking at those weights that the OEM hardtop alone is 44 pounds plus the hardware (about 25 pounds). So in the end its a decent amount more in weight then the Mugen ones.

 

damn.. i kinda liek defrosters... one of teh many features that is actually useful

 

Ditto, I would not of thought that the black top would look good on the red, and I doesn't... it looks friggin unreal! And the wheels, duese bella!!

 

I too like defrosters, but I really like the Mugen look over the oem one. Are you just not supposed to drive the car durring cold weather days?
