PM Ben ... you will not regret it.

Mine broke a few weeks ago and he got me a rebuilt one, excellent price and very helpfull.

This is after I purchased a used one that ended up being worse than mine and was supposed to have 32k miles on it!!

Are those cracks that I'm seeing in the housing???

Anyway ... I always wondering, other than launching the car like a mofo ... is it possible to rip the diff apart like that from just driving the car really aggressively? (but not abusing it)

The diff really looks like it went through some blender of some sort ... the metal chunks were scary man
yes. keep launching the car & its only a matter of time.

^Yea im wondering if kia parts are a good upgrade also, just incase my diff blows in the future. Maybe S2kPUDDYDAD can chime in.

the kia parts are not upgrades in terms of build quality or reliability. they're interchangeable/replacements. the ratios themselves are the upgrades.

thats badass. i wish i had that kind of knowledge. Im sure i'll have to deal with this soon being FI over 430. Which makes me wonder, whats the best (or most common) aftermarket differential to get out there for an s2k FI in the 4-500hp and over 300 torque range? this way I can prepare..
