Nice pics. And I'm sure they're plenty fast. But I have to agree with the boys from Top Gear; Porsche has the laziest design studio ever! Each new car they design looks like the last one.

Now keep in mind, this is based on the original design. Yes there are sportscars out there that can out maneuver a porsche via AWD like the R8, GT-R and the Gallardo to name a few.. But Porsche has more victories, and is the most successful marque in LE MANS history.....

You know why? Cause the overall design is not only timeless, but why change a winning platform? When Porsche first designed the RR (Rear Engine, Rear Wheel Drive) concept for their sports car they didn't realize how an impact it would make in the motorsports world.. The overall structure is so simple, braking momentum is not compromised by to much front weight, rear traction is footed due to weight of the rear, this is such a winning formula that it can't really be duplicated, but many of the fastest cars in the world run a very similar setup..
