And I love CCW wheels, you must show 'em off when you get them. Did you get classics or something else? I talked with CCW a good bit before I bought my HREs. My next set of wheels will most likely be CCW classics.
Yep, I got classics. Had them built special so they'll be factory offset and widths - so they'll remain legal for SCCA A Stock autocross. I'm allowed to push out the offsets 6mm, so I took advantage of that too. To hear it from John, they'll be the only set in the country, so they should be unique. I'll definitely put pictures up once I get them - should be end of this week or early next.

Another option may be a slightly lighter version of the Kinesis look. For lack of a better way of describing it, shot peened. Regardless of the end finish, are you going to have them clear coated or anodized, or leave them bare metal? I considered leaving the CCWs bare, but in the end went with anodized to save me some amount of labor keeping them nice.

Good for you for not being *another* JDM whore. Those HREs look dynamite, can't wait to see what direction you decide to take them in.

Haha at "JDM whore". Yeah I'm definitely not that. I like some "JDM" stuff, but not because it's "JDM". I could care less if something was made in Kenya. If I like it, I'll put it on my car.

I am leaning toward that Kinesis finish, but the actual shade is still up in the air. My only problem is every now and then I look at them in black, and I really like them. I guess if I go another color and decide I liked black better, I can always go back, haha.

I'm excited to see your classics too. If I haven't mentioned it enough yet, I LOVE those wheels.

a 12 point socket and an open end wrench. Pretty simple. Same thing to put it together, but add a torque wrench.
