Green Tea,
nice pics, esp the infrared....
As some of the above posters have hinted, it's not the camera--it's composition and color (aided at times by photoshop). There's a reason numerous photographers try to reproduce Ansel Adams prints at Yosemite, but can never get it right, even if they spend the whole day waiting. Also, though there are a lot of crappy 8MP point and shoots out there, a P&S will take better pics than a frank amateur with an SLR.

Here are a few pix taken with my new Canon Digital Rebel XT. Most pictures were taken with a 30 second shutter speed and a 28mm wide angle lens.
Some night shots of my car and some with new 8000K HID bulbs:
A few random shots of my car:
A random shot of my cell phone:
Some shots I took in Seattle the other night ... Alki Beach and the Seattle Center, more specifically:
Hope you enjoy!! Positive criticism only please. Feel free to use any photo as long as I am credited for taking the photo.

As I commented earlier - some good stuff.
arrrmand, each time I run down through the thread I find myself stopping and admiring your photo of the S2000 in front of the electric sub-station. That one really works for me.
green tea, lots of goodies but the two I especially like are the B&W in front of the tower/mall and the color shot of the bridge/city.
Dubai, nice as well. Love the AMG drift pan shot.
