powder coat them. i spray painted my wheels baby blue. I sanded primered painted and clear coated. They still chip really easily. Just spend the extra buck and have them powder coated.

Either powdercoat them, or use and actual gold automotive paint, and get them sprayed by a body shop. Any spray paint will eventually chip. The automotive paint professionally done would be the cheapest alternative, plus you can pick from all kinds of golds. Its also less prone to chipping since they go through the curing stages and stuff in the booth, which you cant do spray painting.

i agree with the powdercoat idea. it's worth the extra cash. My ap1 wheels were sprayed properly with base coat/clear coat and you it chips easily that close to the ground.
