i think spoon believes the stock airbox is good as it is, which explains why they dont have an aftermarket intake for the s2000. they do, however, gut the airbox and swap out the oem filter. the intake hose all remain the same though.

i dont recall spoon ever making any aftermarket intakes for hondas.

 

Interesting....guess Spoon feels the CR lip is also their best option.

They have the stock airbox to conform to the rules of the race they participate in. I believe they are not allowed to use non-oem aero, and engine mods. This car has the mugen top, CR lip, and doesn't even have the spoon snorkle. There is a best motoring video with this car racing in it.

don't mind the naked tsuchiya in the beginning. There is glimpse of the j's racing car, which is also using oem aero and mugen top.

 

nah, spoon has their own s2000 front/rear bumper. the car just has to conform to the race regulations hence the oem parts.
