Picture request: Painted calipers
#14
I'll share pics of my newly painted calipers. Haven't seen yellow yet so MAYBE I'm the first on S2KI???
The calipers were grinded down (pain in the ass). Used the G2 Caliper Paint Kid from Decalgirl.com. Also got the S2000 logo from her.

you guys might be mad for what i say but why do you guys paint the caliper for? i mean, people look at it and they'll know it's still stock. why not get the real big break and it'll look good and slow your fast S a lot faster.

I think they look sharp painted and I don't care if they're stock. Stock brakes on this car are good. I did have somebody ask me after seeing my calipers if my car had Baer brakes!!!
Here's mine, ungrounded. Please excuse the low res pics and disregard the broken studs and missing lug nuts in the first picture.

$800-$2500 for big brakes.
$1000-$5000 for new wheels that fit OVER the brakes.
$600-$1500 for new tires that fit on the new wheels.
OR
$35 for caliper paint.
This is a tough call. Especially when the stock brakes work well, I like the stock rims and I still have meat on the stock tires.
Personally, I thought the stock brake calipers looked like crap in that grey-green, so I painted them.
