Default Picture request: Painted calipers

Is there a big difference between painting the caliper grinded and painting it ungrinded?

All the pictures i've seen look about the same and im not sure which are grinded and ungrinded.

It would be great if someone can post pictures to compare...

Thanks!

I have seen a few ungrinded and a few which were grinded and painted.. The difference I noticed about them were the grinded ones, the paint looked a lot more smooth. Where the ungrinded ones, there were like bumps on them. I also think that the paint looks a lot more clear and clean on the grinded one, because its a smooth flat surface rather than an uneven surface with an ungrinded one... I think the difference in appearance is pretty noticeable... IMHO, I would grind down the calipers before painting..

Using a dremel to grind the calipers gives the paint a more smooth look. Basically, you grind off the cast marks on the caliper. It looks fine either way, it's a personal preference.
