Well, I finally got my new wheels after trying to decide for awhile.
They are 18" OZ Superleggera from TireRack. 225/40/18 fronts and 255/35/18 rears. I elected to go with the Kumho Ecstas this time around. They grip reasonably well and are a good value. However, I will probably go for the Bridgestones next time.
Please click on them for a bigger image.

Thanks!
The car is at a stock height.
I have the HKS exhaust.
As for the issue of lowering//rubbing, I asked this to other owners with the same wheel. Shamu has his car lowered and same wheels/size and he has not encountered any rubbing.

Excellent, excellent look; thanks for posting since I'm thinking of the Superleggeras and my S2000 is also New Formula Red.
Did you consider going with the 17" wheels? If so, why the 18"? The 18"s do seem to fill the wheel wells very well.

I never really considered the 17". I think 17" might be the better option for a performance reason. However, I really do not drive my car that aggressivly. Like you said, the 18" do fill the wheel well better than the 17".
The car does ride nicely now......it 'feels' more planted in long, high speed turns and seems more neutral.

One thing that is bothersome and is probably the case with most aftermarket exhaust systems, is the 2500-4000rpm drone that gets a bit annoying on long drives, especially with the top up.
And I like the dual outlet design as well. Simple, uncluttered appearance.
