don't forget to shave the upper corners of the support beam to prevent future cracking near the headlight area of the front bumper.

no. you will need the bumper and grille. if you want to do it right, you will also need the fender liners. Your AP1 fender liners wont fit. Most people use zipties to attach them. Your choice. Visit my "Transformation Thread" to see where to cut.

yep sorry my post wasnt all that clear. basically for me i bought a AP2 bumper, grill and tow hook cover. when installing i took the foam off the support beam and cut about a 1 inch wedge off each side of the metal beam (its not hard to d its really thin metal). then when mounting, i think only 3 of 8 bolts will actually line up with the AP1 fender liner but you can zip-tie the rest if you want. dont worry about only having 3 bolts, i didnt even zip-tie mine and i have a lip and splitter added on and it has held up fine for years!
