I looked but cant really get any good pics. Does anybody have some "black chrome" powdercoated wheels? I am thinking about getting my ap2v2s done. Thanks

Hmm not sure if that is quite the same, although similar. I have Advans with that type of finish...the insides of the spokes and barrel is a blacker chrome color and the visible spokes are regular chrome which makes nice contrast.

I like the "wet" black on the TL wheels more than the "high gloss" on the ap1's.

I do some powdercoating and did some parts in Black Chrome powdercoat. Here in my DIY powdercoating there are some pics of how the the color really looks. Its almost more like a dark gunmetal color, but in the shade it looks almost black. With a powdercoated clear they look 3D in person, it looks awesome. I'm not sure if there is a different black chrome powdercoat other than this.

^yea i read your DIY a few times and that how i decided on the color. I assumed it was a little different in person so i looked up black chrome wheels and it doesnt look anything like your color on there. So i thought different powder manufacturers might call their powder black chrome and it be different from another one. I love the pic i posted, the color anyway and i think it would look awesome one my BB

Wow, I had no idea there was a different kind called black chrome. Maybe the other stuff isnt really powdercoat, maybe its dipped or something?
