Pic request: ap1 tail lights with ap2 bumper
Hey guys, I got a deal on an ap2 front bumper a couple months ago and I plan on doing that on my 00 Silverstone, but as far as the rear I'm up in the air if I want to do the ap2 rear and convert the lights and all, or stay ap1. I'm more of a fan of the ap1 lights, I love the LEDness of the ap2 but something about the ap1's look more simpler to me. But I love the ap2 bumper. So anyone have a setup with the ap1 lights and ap2 bumper?
Bonus points for anyone who posts cleared ap1 headlights with ap2 bumper/lip combo
Thanks guys

Behind the taillights.
AP1 have 2 holes, AP2 have 3 holes. You just buy the lights and use the rubber gasket as a template. You do need to use plates to secure the taillights because of the AP1 holes but you can search "AP2 taillight conversion" on ebay and find out what I am talking about.
The metal where the light sits is pretty soft so you can use a dremel with a drill like cut bit to cut it out quickly. Sand the rough edges off and just apply primer to avoid rust. Then use the kit with the plates + plug and play wires to finish it off.

I converted to an Ap2 bumper as I bought a CR exhaust system. I don't like ap2 oval tips on an ap1 bumper as they stick out too far, and I don't care for ap1 round tips on an ap2 bumper as they don't fill the holes very well. I'm happy with my setup. Here are some pics below, my license plate changed throughout the pics but it is the same car - 2002 MY.
