Pic request for all PAINTED cf vented hoods...

I am thinking about painting my CF hood, but leaving the vents cf,
but I'm not sure how it will look in person. I've never seen my style hood painted before (the inward 3 vents, ts1 style) so all pics would be helpful...

ALSO, if anyone has very good photoshop skills, could they edit the pics of my car below to be painted except for the vents?

That hood looks sick the way it is...However I also painted my vented CF hood. My car is GPW and I like it painted much better. I would def. recommend painting the whole thing though, I tried leaving the vents carbon...There really isnt a way to leave it where they will look good.

 

thanks, but up close its already starting to lose its fade and I came across some pics on older forums where they painted the one with the 4 vented style and it looks bad ass but im not sure about the 3 vent like i have...

what can i body shop do to fix the clear coat on a slightly faded hood? (that may be my other alternative)

 

sand it and re-clear it

 

Had that exact hood on my gpw and was considering getting it painted nfr and putting it on now. Im just concerned of the water coming in through the vents and going right into my K&N FIPK. I was thinking of just sealing them up but then you have standing water in them when it gets wet or rains. Any suggestions?
