Hi all
I want to get my wheels spruced up and as my car is Silverstone...I want to go a little darker...Anthracite or preferably I think...Black Chrome. Not Black with Chrome...but Black Chrome the colour.
My wheels look like this now.....does anyone have decent pics of Black Chrome wheels ?
Thanks

I'm planning on getting my AP2 wheels done in black chrome. It's about $100 per wheel depending on how much prep work has to be done. Here's some picks of the finish on a Viper wheel.
What I found out was that there is two ways to make this finish. The first is to actually get the wheel chromed and then apply the transparent black powder coat to that. The second way is to use a chrome like powder coat as the base and then apply the transparent black coat to that. The first way is the correct way to do it but the second process works just as well and is much cheaper to do. It's a little darker in color and looks completely black in certain lighting. Check out this pic and you will see what I mean.
Looks much darker than the first set of pics. Black Chrome on a Sebring Silver or Silverstone car will look sweet!!!!
