Default Part II: J's Header T1R Test Pipe J's Tit. 60RS

Part I can be found here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=318448

Now the T1R Test Pipe, with the Anti Fouler Plug (you can't see the Fouler because one was getting drilled by a 1/2 inch bit at that time)...

Is this stock?

The Cusco stuff...

Tit. 60RS coming alive!

I would also like to thank AJR up in Canada for supplying me with all the J's goodies. Ben, you the man! Dickson, you the man also! There service is second to none, just like Anthony's Shop! They are straight up guys!

Next on my list is to put the J's airbox in. Just sitting at my office. Now if I have time again. hmmmm untill next time....

I agree. We need some sound clips. I have been anxious to hear the full J's exhaust with the 60rs.

NO, there is no heat shield for the header like the mugen...

the only heat shield is the one that goes between the battery and the header, J's makes one like this (sorry the pic is bad).

I forgot, I also installed this...but was having fitting problem. It was rubbing one of my headers. I try to adjust it but no luck for me. Also it was rubbin on the other side, it looked like a servo of some kind that contected to the aircond. pipe is. So now I went back to the stock one and that gave me about 1/2 inch clearance. I also drilled a whole on the stock heat shield like the J's heat shield. Weight difference is very minimual compared to the J's. Reason for drilling whole is that I got the J's engine damper (Thats also next project).

Update, just got this today. Here is some comparison.

Other side.

Sideways view.

Wieght differences, 0.2 lbs...

J's 0.9 lbs. The whole is 2" and 1/4' inch diemeter.

Stock, 1.1 lbs. the whole is 3" inch diameter (I requested that size, just in case so there can be some free play, with the engine damper)

Yes there was a difference on the cusco bars. the big notice was that when I go up to my drive way I would hear little creek, and now no more...for now. i need to go up angeles crest (mountain) to really test this baby. probably this weekend i will go up. i couldn't really do any tight turns, since i was in traffic most of the time. felt it tight but can't really explain it.
