I think the '12 chrome housings look much better on the white, but the '11 black housings definitely look better on the darker colors.

Haha, no plans to mod right now. My wife and I will be sharing this car once in a while, and the last thing she wants is some aggressive car, that's too loud, and too stiff.

Just don't start browsing the vendor/member classifies. Was ok, until I had extra time on my hand.

Too late

I honestly hate that it's so easy to make these cars pretty fast.

I think I was just due for some change. Probably due to the fact I was in an S2000 for so long.

So far, not missing the S.

I had an 08 GRB hatch, was a fantastic car. The motor is bulletproof, problems were with factory tune. I had the a down pipe, exhaust, and tune, and it was a blast at any moment. I later had an Evo X, and I must say the STi was a much better built car, more rewarding, practical, and mechanically better engineered. You've made a great choice. Don't let the ringtone hype get to you, it's mostly hype at this point.

Enjoy the vehicle, drive it hard, that's what they like. It's also very very safe for family purposes.

I agree with all your points except the engine being bulletproof. I also went to the GR STi to Evo X. While the Evo performed better, I liked the GR more because it had character.
