MG Racing sold the one shown in the picture. There are different levels of Spoon parts available for this engine. The full blown Ti engine is $12.5K including a reworked tranny. Anyone with the $ can buy one.

Can't you get almost 265 HP with CAI, VAFC, Exhaust, Headers?
I'm wondering, if the Spoon F20C is 265 HP at the flywheel, then how much it'd put down to the wheels. If they do any rear end work.
Also, anyone know at what MPH each gear redlines at?

For 9k you could make almost twice as much horsepower with a Turbo Setup. Whats wrong with you people?
Someone please clarify - why you would want to spend that much just for 25 hp gain?
Is it what you could do with it afterwards? By that time you should just go buy a vette or M5.

One thing to consider on this:
The factory F20C is almost 9K and the Spoon engine is 12K WITH the tranny.... Also consider that the Spoon design philosophy is built around endurance racing, not just all out power... I would consider that since this engine is blueprinted and built right, it will definately take some abuse...
Also to the person who made the observation that you can make 265 at the crank with mods.. Just think of what you can do with all those mods on the Spoon F20C? That would be sweet.
Just something to think about eh?
