And how exactly do you guys do this?
Photoshop?

HDR = High Dynamic Range.

An HDR photograph is usually composed of multiple (at least 3) images at different exposure ranges. This allows tone mapping capabilities that are impossible to perform on a single image through a single shutter/aperture ratio.

The way to produce an HDR image is different depending on the software being used. I suggest google searching HDR and finding out for yourself
