...hmmm...
so, I am stuck...I just ordered some RPF1s... and I want to powdercoat them.
and the two choices right now are:
gold
black
I have a berlina, with a hardtop...
and I haven't seen a single berlina with black RPF1s and a hardtop... so, I'm not sure if that'd be too much.
choices, choices.

do not powdercoat rims...
get them painted the color you want then a few layers of clearcoat.
I don't know how the RPF-1's hold up, but in my discussions with Jim @ tire rack, he told me a customer had powder coated some SSR wheels, and long story short, they got damaged as a result of the powdercoating. They were tested at a lab and it was verified from what I was told.
Powdercoating could possibly weaken the wheel.

Here's a couple gratuitous shots of my car with the 328mm Stoptech kit installed. No spacers! Probably only about 2mm clearance!
Only just got them on last night. Have to shoot some more photos showing the whole car.
