Wow very helpful.

Can someone here confirm that a 215 front on 17x8+45 will clear on a 1 inch drop. How much camber if say the drop is 1.25-1.5 inches? Same for rears - 245 on 17x9+45, camber? Confirmation would be nice and actual camber values would be wonderful.

Thanks!
I have that same size front no a 1.5" drop running -.6 camber without being rolled up front and clear fine

My rears have 255/40 so I had to roll and camber them in. If I had 245 I would still roll them just to be safe. You might clear with some neg camber if you're not lowered much. I have -2 camber in the rear, it just enough to get my 255s to clear so with 245s and a roll you could low as you want

Thinking about going 17x9.5 +38 all around with 255/235. What would be the positive and negatives of this setup? I do a lot of mountain driving.

well as far as handling it going to no different then running a 17x9 +45 all around. The wheels will stick out a bit more then the +45 and you will have to be cambered in like crazy on the front and rear to get them to fit. You will also need pulled or flared front fenders if you dont have aftermarket fenders and the rears are gonna be a tight fit. I would say +3 neg camber or more with a roll.

I am trying to avoid rolling. I don't so much mind the neg camber though as it will give me better cornering grip. I don't think I will drop too low; I'm thinking 1 inch (1.5 at the most). Anyone running the 245's on a 17x9 +45 here with no roll? Would love to hear from first-hand experience.

^ I have seen it done with jsut neg camber, running about -2.5 or so with a 245. You can do it but you cant go much lower then an inch. At a 1.5" drop you're gonna be pushing it but should be safe. Where are you located? If you're local I can do it for you, i did my own.
