how aggresive?

you can go, which is most common and you get the sunkface rears but not fronts (gives good contrast IMO)
17x8+45 Front you will need to roll if you go to a 225 and your lowered more then an inch
17x9+45 Rear I reccomend to roll if lowered over an inch and you plan to run a 245 or 255 rear tire, 245 may clear with jsut neg camber but 255 requires both

or slightly more aggresive
17x9+45 Front
17x9+45 Rear I reccomend to roll if lowered over an inch and you plan to run a 245 or 255 rear tire, 245 may clear with jsut neg camber but 255 requires both

or more aggresive
17x9+45 Front or 17x8 +45 Front (same as above)
17x9+38 rear

or the most aggresive RPF1 set-up I have heard of on an S2k
17x9+38 Front and Rear

green= neg camber and roll
red= neg camber and roll and fender flare

I hope this makes sense. Remember this is just my opinion, some people get away without rolling with certain sizes but trial and error sucks so I would roll just to be safe
I read this a couple times actually, im so clueless when it comes to offset its not funny! Plus im new to the RWD...Im coming from FWD. Sorry if I caused a headache.

well those are all the basic set-ups people run unless you wnat an 8" rear wheel. I have them listed from the least aggresive to the most aggresive. I wrote it out as simple as possible though. The S2000 has really HIGH offsets in general compared to most other RWD imports (i.e. 350x, 240sx, Supra) so you have to be careful when looking at wheels. For jsut about all RPF1 wheels et-ups on the S2k you will need to roll the rear and dial in some neg camber to get them to clear without rubbing if you're lowered. I advice you to stay away from the really low offset wheels that I posted since you're a NOOB to wheel fitment on the S2k.

You saw pics of my car, did you like how they fit??? If so then get those sizes. If you want less worries about rubbing then run a 245/40/17 rear tire instead of a 255/40/17. I really dont know what else to tell you though, just ask me a ??? if you're still confused.

BTW you should read up on offsets in general so you have a better understanding of the a +45 or +38 really is

yeah but you cant compare your wheels to these for several reasons. Once you go to 18s fitment is dif then 17s, same goes for 16s. If you want these wheels with a 255 rear (like mine) you will need to roll the rear inner fender lip and cut out the bumper tab and relocate. Honestly if you were local I could do it for you.

+1

I have a quick question for everyone, will a 17x9.5" wheel with +38 offset "stick out" exactly the same as a 17x9" wheel with +38 offset?

Thanks in advance.

NO, if both have a +38 and one is .5" wider then the 9.5" one will stick out 1/4" more then the 9" one. To fit the 17x9.5+38 you will need to dial in LOTS of neg camber and roll the fenders and you might even have to stretch a 245/40/17 on there to get the extra clearance. If I were to have that set-up I would run a set of ASM over fenders and cut out my quarter so I could run a 265 or 275 rear tire

yes exactly right

My front wheel is a 17" wheel that is 8" wide with a +45mm offset.

My rear wheel is a 17" wheel that is 9" wide with a +45mm offset
