^yup. Honestly it was a pain. If all I wanted to do was drive around and have the car look good then I'd just toss more camber at it and call it a day but I do autocross the car and also plan on getting onto a real roadcourse in the near future so I wanted to keep the alignment from being too ridiculous.

Doing it all over again I'd probably just get 17x9+45s. They look almost identical and not nearly as much of a headache.
I agree with you. I do autox as well and it took me days to get the ride height to where it looked nice bit was still functional. Now I'm kind of second guessing my decision on going with the more aggressive 17x9.5 +38 in the rear. I definitely plan on keeping my 17x9 +45 in front with 245/40 so I hope the new rears won't be a pain.

BTW, I can tell a difference in the rear stance from +45 to the +38. Looks nice.

^oh yeah, stance is definitely a very noticeable difference. It was even a very noticeable difference compared to the 17x9 +40s I took off the car. It's definitely not impossible and I've managed to get them to pretty much stop rubbing without even changing my alignment so it's not terrible. I will say I've gotten more positive comments about the way the 9.5s look compared to the 9s though. That's been a plus

a little something for the S2kMedic fans.
I have to thank S2kMedic for taking the time to let me shoot his car.

between work, organizing the Stance meet and working on the site, I've been slammed... but I'm going to try and make some time to process the pics from the shoot and get them up as soon as possible.

for now here are some teasers

Thanks for shooting the car Leo! Cant wait to see the pictures!

I just picked up my rpf1's from oakos automotive in sterling heights, MI.

I got the 17x8 and 17x9 +45.

I should have some pictures once my rays extended lugnuts and rays valve stems come in.

On a side note. I think that i may get the 17x9 +45 to run non staggered or get the 17x9.5+38 for the rear because I don't like the 17x8+45.
