^The amount of extra work it'll take for the 17x9.5s up front is quite a bit of difference than the 17x9 +45s especially if you're running a 255. I've been very curious to know how a 17x9 w/245 front 17x9.5 w/255 rear would do.

I personally have run the 17x9 +45s all around with 255s no problem and I have a full set of 17x9.5s coming Monday that I'll be running the 255 star specs you see above. I do plan on running plenty of camber and I will be properly flaring the front fenders. I know they can fit on stock fenders but I think it might look goofy. I'm also not sure the 9.5 will do anything more for performance and will definitely take more work to fit. I'm going to see how they are and if it's looking like a pain I'll just go back to the 9 +45s

Also reading from what you've said, might go, F: 17x9 +45 245/40 R: 17x9.5 +38 255/40.. will this be ok without too much trouble, we got a guy down here who can flair and roll guards to make fit 20inch rims lol..

I actually am planning on changing to this exact setup very soon. 17x9 +45 w/ 245 F, and 17x9.5 +38 w/ 255 R. We'll see how it goes!

I run that rim set up with a 25mm up front and a 15mm rear with 225/245. I don't plan on tracking my car.

you don't need to slam it. Just lower it a little.
