Thanks bro. What kind of spacers do you think is required to give an acceptable clearance? I'd like to avoid using a spacer upfront to keep the car's track balanced. If I use a spacer up front, I would have to use a similar one at the back to balance it. However, doing so might cause mg 255 tires to scrub the fenders if I lower the car by an inch and a half. I dont want to roll and do any modification on the fenders.
5mm might give you too much offset causing rubbing issues up front... instead i used a 3mm spacer from a mustang gt500 from H&R because they don't have anything smaller than 5mm for our car other than the one from T1R (good luck getting anything from them within a month).
anyways, the Mustang GT500 spacer fits almost flush but the middle bore space is about 0.5mm larger on the spacer but causes no problems that i've seen. The 3mm spacer would be a good solution so you get clearance on the bbk and the enkei wheel

The part number i believe is 0665705 from H&R springs. hope this helps..

I can only find 225/45, I just realized though since I'm stretching the tires is this the profile that I should be looking for and not the 40's?
A 235/40R17 is going to give you a smaller rolling diameter and will therefore give you a bit less chance of fender interference.

Do the math. (I did and I used this size successfully myself)

A 325....really? That would be um....a large pinch. Plus, the whole point is to eliminate wheel gap. 225/40 is the correct size, and yes you likely will need some fender modification.
